Description
The International Sports Press Association (AIPS), founded in 1924, is the international members’ association for sports journalists. The AIPS card is internationally recognised and acknowledged by leading sports bodies, including UEFA, CAF, and World Athletics.
For journalists in Zimbabwe, membership of the AIPS is exclusive to members of the Sports Writers Association of Zimbabwe (SWAZ).
To obtain your new card, whether you are a new or existing member, there are two simple steps:
How to Apply or Renew
Visit the official AIPS website to begin your application or renewal: Click here
Pay your $50 AIPS fee directly to SWAZ, which collects fees on behalf of AIPS. This must be paid online https://swaz.co.zw/product/aips-card/
Important Information
To maintain AIPS membership, you must be a current SWAZ member.
If you are not yet a SWAZ member, you must first join by paying the US$12 annual subscription: Click here
Once both steps are completed, your AIPS card will be processed and issued.
Please be aware the cards are produced by AIPS themselves and sent to the SWAZ to be forwarded on to the member. As such, we order the cards in batches so there can be a delay in your card arriving.
